Rai Exchange
Logo & Landing Page, 2018
A developer in the cryptocurrency sector was developing an exchange specifically for the currency RaiBlocks, and held a community competition for graphic designers to submit a logo design for the exchange that was to be called Rai Exchange. Out of approximately 50 applicants, my design was selected and I was reimbursed for my time, and I also created a concept landing page. The logo is a play on RaiBlocks' logo, as can be seen below.
It takes the original logo and transforms it into a visual representation of exchange rather than the 3D block appearance. Unfortunately after this competition concluded, it was announced that RaiBlocks were rebranding to Nano Currency and therefore the design was no longer needed, as the exchange developer decided to change the name to Nanex, in line with the new currency name.
